FRONT END ACCESSORY DRIVE (FEAD) - 2.3L EXPLODED VIEW

Front End Accessory Drive (Fead) - 2.3L:

ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT - 2.3L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the pin-type retainer, 5 bolts and the RH splash shield.
^ To install, tighten to 9 Nm (0.9 kgf-m, 80 in-lbf).





3. Using the hex feature, rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt from the water pump pulley.
^ Remove the accessory drive belt from the engine.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
