Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE - 2.3L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION






1. Remove the 3 screws, the pin-type retainer and the upper and lower snow shield.
- To install, tighten to 10 N.m {1.0 kgf.m, 89 in.lbf}.
2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the IAC valve.
- To install, tighten to 10 N.m {1.0 kgf.m, 89 in.lbf}.
- Inspect the gasket and install new as necessary.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
