Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS CANISTER PURGE VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION






1. Disconnect the evaporative emissions (EVAP) canister purge valve electrical connector.
2. Disconnect5the 2 fuel vapor tube-to-EVAP canister purge valve quick connect couplings. See QUICK RELEASE COUPLING - DOUBLE LOCKING.
3. Depress the tab and remove the EVAP canister purge valve from the bracket.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
