C1155 (LF)

--
PINPOINT TEST 3: DTCs C1145 (RF), C1155 (LF), C1165 (RR) OR C1175 (LR) - WHEEL SPEED SENSOR INPUT CIRCUIT FAILURE - HYBRID

Normal Operation

The active wheel speed sensor generates a signal that is sent to the ABS control module. The wheel speed sensor circuitry connects to the ABS control module connector C155 through 2 wires and a connector at each wheel speed sensor. When the ignition switch is turned to the RUN position, the ABS control module carries out a self-test by sending a reference voltage through the wheel speed sensors and their circuitry to determine if they are functional.
Voltage is supplied to the active wheel speed sensors from the ABS control module. The wheel speed sensor ground is also supplied by the ABS control module.

- DTC C1145 (Wheel Speed Sensor RF Input Circuit Failure) - When the vehicle speed exceeds 5 km/h (3 mph) or when the ignition key self-test is carried out, if the ABS control module detects a short to ground or voltage, an open or a defective RF wheel speed sensor trigger circuit, DTC C1145 will be set.
- DTC C1155 (Wheel Speed Sensor LF Input Circuit Failure) - When the vehicle speed exceeds 5 km/h (3 mph) or when the ignition key self-test is carried out, if the ABS control module detects a short to ground or voltage, an open or a defective LF wheel speed sensor trigger circuit, DTC C1155 will be set.
- DTC C1165 (Wheel Speed Sensor RR Input Circuit Failure) - When the vehicle speed exceeds 5 km/h (3 mph) or when the ignition key self-test is carried out, if the ABS control module detects a short to ground or voltage, an open or a defective RR wheel speed sensor trigger circuit, DTC C1165 will be set.
- DTC C1175 (Wheel Speed Sensor LR Input Circuit Failure) - When the vehicle speed exceeds 5 km/h (3 mph) or when the ignition key self-test is carried out, if the ABS control module detects a short to ground or voltage, an open or a defective LR wheel speed sensor trigger circuit, DTC C1175 will be set.

Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Wheel speed sensor
- ABS control module
