** May also be generated by some other non-electric transaxle hardware system.*** The TCIL code will set on the first fault occurrence. On the second fault occurrence plus the second power up, the MIL and TCIL will illuminate.

Transaxle Tester

The Transaxle Tester is used to diagnose the electronically controlled transaxle and is used in conjunction with the pinpoint tests. The tests should be carried out in order. Installing the Transaxle Tester allows separation of the vehicle electronics and the transaxle electronics. See the Transaxle Tester manual for these tests.
