BODY CLOSURES

The body closures system consists of the following components:

- Door checks

- Hood weatherstrip

- Rear doors latch strikers
- Rear door hinges
- Rear door opening weatherstrips
- Liftgate
- Liftgate hinges
- Liftgate hydraulic lifts
- Liftgate latch striker
- Liftgate weather-strip

The doors are attached to the body by two pin-type hinges and are also equipped with a door hinge check which limits the travel of the door.The hood is attached to the body by two hood hinges and is supported when open by a hood support rod.The liftgate is attached to the body by two liftgate hinges. The liftgate hydraulic lifts aid in opening and supporting the liftgate.
