PINPOINT TEST 5: THE ROOF OPENING PANEL DOES NOT OPEN OR CLOSE

Normal Operation

The roof opening panel module receives voltage on circuit (G/L) when the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON position. The roof opening panel module is grounded through circuit (B/GY). When the roof opening panel switch is pressed, circuit (B) and circuit (W) are connected for open/tilt down or circuit (B) and circuit (V) are connected for close/tilt up. The roof opening panel module controls the roof opening panel motor by directing power and ground on circuit (O) and circuit (R) to the motor.
