Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE - 3.0L (4V) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION






1. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and the IAC valve and discard the gasket.
- To install, tighten to 10 N.m {1.0 kgf-m, 89 in-lbf}.
- Clean and inspect all sealing surfaces. Install new gasket.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
