EGR Tube: Service and Repair

EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE TUBE - 3.0L (4V) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Carefully detach the differential feedback exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system sensor from the EGR tube and position the sensor aside.
2. Disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-EGR tube fitting from the EGR valve.
- To install, tighten to 40 N.m {4.1 kgf.m, 30 ft.lbf}.

3. Disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-EGR tube fitting from the RH catalytic convener.
- To install, tighten to 40 N.m {4.1 kgf.m, 30 ft.lbf}.

4. Remove the EGR valve tube.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
