Engine Oil Control Valve: Service and Repair

OIL CONTROL VALVE (OCV) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts.

- Plug hole plate Service and Repair
- Ignition coils Service and Repair
- Oil control valve (OCV) connector
- Ventilation hose
- Cylinder head cover Service and Repair
- Oil control valve (OCV)

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

- Tightening torque
8.0-11.5 Nm {81.6-117.2 kgf-cm, 70.9-101.7 in-lbf}
