PICKUP BED









Removal and Installation

1. Remove the tailgate.






1. Disconnect the taillamp wiring harness electrical connector.

2. Remove the fuel filler cap.

NOTE:Mark the position of the fuel filler cap tether for proper installation.Remove the fuel filler neck screws.

NOTE:The pickup bed bolts are not identical and must be installed in the same location that they are removed from.Remove the pickup bed bolts.

- To install, tighten to 63 N-m (6.4 kgf-m, 46 ft-lbf).

2.
NOTE:Lifting the pickup bed requires at least 2 people on each side.Remove the pickup bed.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Inspect and replace any damaged J-nuts.
