WATER PUMP REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L









Removal and Installation

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. See - Service and Repair.

2. Drain the cooling system. See - Removal and Replacement.

3. Remove the drive belt. See - Service and Repair.

4. Remove the bolts and the water pump pulley.Tightening torque:20 Nm {2.0 kgf-m, 15 ft-lbf}

5. Remove the bolts and the water pump.

NOTE:Lubricate the water pump O-ring with clean engine coolant.




To install, reverse the removal procedure.
