Plenum Chamber Removal / Installation

PLENUM CHAMBER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Remove the instrument panel. See - Locations.

2. Drain the radiator. See - Removal and Replacement, or - Removal and Replacement.

3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater/evaporator core.

4. Remove the heater/evaporator core housing. See Evaporator Core Housing Removal / Installation.

5. Remove the nuts.
Tighting torque
3.4-4.8 Nm { 35 - 49 kgf-cm, 31-42 in-lbf }.

6. Remove the plenum chamber.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Lubricate the coolant hoses with coolant hose lubricant or plain water if needed.
