Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Removal/Installation

CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.5L










1. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector.

2. Remove the bolt and the CMP sensor.

- To install, tighten to 7 Nm {0.7 kgf-m, 62 in-lbf}.
- Inspect the O-ring seal and install new as necessary.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:Lubricate the camshaft position (CMP) sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
