Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Service and Repair

ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION (APP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

2.5L and 3.0L Vehicles

Hybrid Vehicles

1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.

2. Remove the 3 bolts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.

- To install, tighten to 7 Nm {0.7 kgf-m, 62 in-lbf} (2.5L and 3.0L vehicles).
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm {1.0 kgf-m, 89 in-lbf} (2.5L Hybrid vehicles).

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
