Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.5L 1.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.See

2.
Remove the intake manifold. See -
Service and Repair.
3.
Remove the bolt and the knock sensor (KS).

To install, tighten to 20 Nm {2.0 kgf-m, 177 in-lbf}.
4.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
