EGR Tube: Service and Repair

EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE TUBE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 3.0L

1. Disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-EGR tube fitting from the EGR valve.

- To install, tighten to 40 Nm {4.1 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

2. Disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-EGR tube fitting from the RH catalytic convertor.

- To install, tighten to 40 Nm {4.1 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

3. Remove the exhaust manifold-to-EGR valve tube.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
