DESCRIPTION
During PDI, some vehicles equipped with satellite radio (non-navigation), may exhibit satellite radio inoperative with blank message display, no codes and only displays sat1, sat2 or sat3. This may be caused by a one-time only initialization error during manufacturing.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify the satellite radio (non-navigation) is inoperative with blank message display, no codes and only displays sat1, sat2 or sat3.
a. Yes - Go to Step 2.
b. No - This procedure does not apply. Refer to MS3 online instructions or Workshop Manual (section 09-20 AUDIO CONTROL MODULE (ACM) SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE).
2. Move the vehicle outside of the building.
3. Remove fuse 39 and wait 4 minutes before reinserting fuse. This will reset the system and permanently correct the condition.
