Flex Plate: Service and Repair

FLEXPLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 3.0L

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See Lifting.

2. Remove the transaxle. See - Transaxle Removal or - Transaxle Installation.

3. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.

- To install, tighten to 80 Nm {8.1 kgf-m, 59 ft-lbf}

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
