PINPOINT TEST 2: A SINGLE/MORE THAN ONE DOOR LOCK IS INOPERATIVE - HYBRID

Normal Operation

When the smart junction box (SJB) receives a lock request from a door lock control switch, the SJB provides power to the door lock actuators through circuit (GY/BR). Ground for the left front door lock actuator is provided through circuit (L/G) and ground for the remaining door lock actuators is provided through circuit (V/GY). When the SJB receives an unlock request, power and ground are reversed on the previously listed circuits.

Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Door lock actuator
- SJB

Diagnostic Procedure

CAUTION:Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
