Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection

FUEL INJECTOR INSPECTION [MZI-3.7]

Resistance Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the engine cover. Service and Repair

3. Remove the dynamic chamber. Service and Repair

4. Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.

5. Measure the resistance of the fuel injector.

Fuel injector resistance
- 11.3-12.7 ohms [20 °C {68 °F}]

- If not as specified, replace the fuel injector. Service and Repair
