Engine Oil: Testing and Inspection

ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION [L3 WITH TC]

1. Position the vehicle on level ground.

2. Warm up the engine.

3. Stop the engine and allow approx. 5 min before continuing.

4. Rotate the service hole cap (installed to charge air cooler duct) used to remove/install the dipstick in the direction shown in the figure and remove it.






5. Remove the dipstick, wipe it cleanly, and reinstall it fully.

6. Remove the dipstick and verify that the oil level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick.






- If the oil level is below the MIN mark, add engine oil.

7. Install the service hole cap by rotating it in the direction shown in the figure.
