Start / Stop Switch: Service and Repair

PUSH BUTTON START REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WITH ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND PUSH BUTTON START SYSTEM]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement Removal and Replacement Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front scuff plate (Driver side) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Front side trim (Driver side) Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

c. Upper panel Upper Panel Removal/Installation

d. Shift knob (MTX)

e. Selector lever knob (ATX) Automatic Transaxle Shift Mechanism Removal/Installation

f. Shift panel Shift Panel Removal/Installation

g. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

h. Console Console Removal/Installation

3. Set the hood release lever out of the way. Service and Repair

4. Partially peel back the seaming welt.

5. Remove the lower panel. Lower Panel Removal/Installation

6. Release the tabs and remove the push button start from the lower panel.






7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
