Intercooler: Testing and Inspection

CHARGE AIR COOLER INSPECTION [L3 WITH TC]

1. Remove the charge air cooler duct.

2. Remove the charge air cooler cover. (See Service and Repair.)

3. Remove the charge air cooler. (See Service and Repair.)

4. Remove the air bypass valve. (See Service and Repair.)

5. Plug ports A and B.






6. Verify that there is no air leakage when air is sent from port C.

- If there is leakage, replace the charge air cooler.
