Fuel Door Release Lever: Service and Repair

FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. When removing the fuel-filler lid opener, perform the following procedure:
a. Trunk box.

b. Seat side box. Seat Side Box Removal/Installation

c. Trunk end trim. Service and Repair

d. Third-row seat. Rear - Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

e. Rear scuff plate inner. (LH) Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

f. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt. (Driver side) Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

g. Trunk side trim. (Driver side)

2. When removing the fuel-filler lid opener cable, perform the following procedure:
a. Front scuff plate inner (LH) Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Rear scuff plate inner (LH) Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

c. Front seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (Driver side) Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

d. B-pillar lower trim (LH) B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

e. Trunk box.

f. Seat side box. Seat Side Box Removal/Installation

g. Trunk end trim. Service and Repair

h. Third-row seat. Rear - Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

i. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt. (Driver side) Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

j. Trunk side trim. (Driver side)

3. Remove the fuel-filler lid release cover in the direction of the arrow.






4. Slightly bend back the floor covering.

5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
