Keyless Control Module Configuration

KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS ENTRY AND START SYSTEM]

NOTE:
- If the configuration is performed using As-Built data, the set value of the personalization function is reset to the initial value (condition when shipped from factory). Verify the set value with the customer and perform the personalization function setting after performing the configuration using As-Built data.

1. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to DLC-2.






2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.

- When using the IDS (laptop PC)

1 Select the "Module Programming".
2 Select "Programmable Module Installation".
3 Select "RKE".

3. Perform the configuration according to the directions on the screen.

4. Retrieve DTCs by the M-MDS, then verify that there is no DTC present.

CAUTION:
- When the configuration is performed, CAN communication between the keyless control module and control module connected to the CAN line is cut temporarily, and communication error DTCs may be detected. After performing the configuration, verify the DTCs for the control module connected to the CAN line and clear it if any DTC is detected.
