CAMSHAFT OIL CLEARANCE INSPECTION [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3]

1.  Position a plastigage on top of the journals in the axial direction.

2.  Install the camshaft cap. (See CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY (II) [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3].)

3.  Remove the camshaft cap. (See CYLINDER HEAD DISASSEMBLY(I) [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3].)

4.  Measure the oil clearance.

•  If it exceeds the maximum specification, replace the camshaft.

No.2—4: 0.065—0.111 mm {0.0026—0.0043 in}
