OIL SEAL (EXTENSION HOUSING) REPLACEMENT [R15M-D]

1.  Drain the transmission oil.

2.  Remove the propeller shaft

(See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the oil seal using a flathead screwdriver.

4.  Apply specified grease to the lip of a new oil seal.

5.  Tap a new oil seal into the case using the SST.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.  Add the transmission oil.
