OIL SEAL (EXTENSION HOUSING) REPLACEMENT [M15M-D]

1.  Drain the transmission oil.

2.  Remove the propeller shaft. (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the oil seal using a flathead screwdriver.

4.  Tap a new oil seal into the case using the SST.

5.  Apply the specified oil to the oil seal lip.

6.  Install the propeller shaft. (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Add the transmission oil. (See TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT [M15M-D].)
