OIL SEAL (EXTENSION HOUSING) REPLACEMENT [S15M-D, S15MX-D]

1.  Position the vehicle on level ground.

2.  Drain the transmission oil.

3.  Remove the propeller shaft.

(See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the oil seal using a flathead screwdriver.

5.  Apply specified grease to the lip of a new oil seal.

6.  Tap a new oil seal into the case using the SST.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

8.  Add transmission oil.
