1. Lubricating system inspection
1. Oil pressure inspection
1) Inspect whether the engine oil is dirty or contains water.
Note
- If the oil is dirty or contains water, change the oil after investigating the causes and taking appropriate measures.
2) Inspect the engine oil level.
Note
- When the oil level is low, replenish it.
3) Remove the oil pressure switch.
Refer to "1.Engine 1E.Lubrication(RZ4E-TC) oil pressure switch removal".
4) Install the oil pressure gauge.
5) Warm up the engine.
6) Measure to inspect whether the oil pressure is the specified value.
Standard: 400 kPa { 4.1 kgf/cm2 / 58 psi } / 3600 rpm
7) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
8) Remove the oil pressure gauge.
9) Install the oil pressure switch.
Refer to "1.Engine 1E.Lubrication(RZ4E-TC) oil pressure switch installation".
10) After starting the engine, check for oil leakage.
