Stereo camera setting

1. Stereo camera safety information

If replacing the stereo camera, it is necessary to write the vehicle information into the new stereo camera.

The scan tool used for the replacement procedure must be the same from start to finish. If the scan tool is changed midway, information cannot be written correctly.

Use the following procedure when replacing or programming the stereo camera.

2. Stereo camera setting

1. Vehicle information download

Note

  • If the scan tool cannot communicate with the old stereo camera, do not perform the vehicle information download.

1) Connect the scan tool to the DLC.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Select "Programming" on the scan tool.

  • Diagnostics > Body > Stereo Camera > Programming

4) Select Download Vehicle Configuration Data and download the vehicle information by following the on-screen instructions.

Note

  • Confirm that the content from the old stereo camera is programmed correctly.
  • If the display contents are wrong, write them individually.

2. Vehicle information programming

Note

  • If the scan tool can communicate with the old stereo camera, do not perform the vehicle information programming.

1) Connect the scan tool to the DLC.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Select "Programming" on the scan tool.

  • Diagnostics > Body > Stereo Camera > Programming

4) Select Vehicle Configuration Data All Programming and program the vehicle information by following the on-screen instructions.

3. Stereo camera learned value clearing

Note

  • Perform only when stereo camera relearning is performed.

1) Connect the scan tool to the DLC.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Select Special Function on the scan tool.

  • Diagnostics > Body > Stereo Camera > Special Function

4) Select Camera Aiming Clear, and follow the on-screen instructions to clear the learned value.

4. Stereo camera learning

1) Referring to the following, perform the stereo camera learning.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. stereo camera writing".

5. Vehicle identification number (VIN) programming

1) Select "Programming" on the scan tool.

  • Diagnostics > Body > Stereo Camera > Programming

2) Select Program VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), and enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) indicated on the ID plate.

6. DTC clearing

1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.

2) If a DTC is set, clear the DTC.

3) After turning the ignition switch OFF, turn it ON once again.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.

5) If a DTC is set, go to the applicable diagnosis.

7. ECU Lock

Note

  • Perform only when replacing with a new stereo camera.

1) Select "Programming" on the scan tool.

  • Diagnostics > Body > Stereo Camera > Programming

2) Select ECU Lock, and follow the on-screen instructions to perform the ECU Lock.

3) After completing the ECU Lock, turn the ignition switch OFF for 30 seconds.
