1-2: 60 to 90 °

4: 25 N・m { 2.5 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }

5: 25 N・m { 2.5 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }

11: 25 N・m { 2.5 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }

12: 10.0 N・m { 1.0 kgf・m / 89 lb・in }

14: 25 N・m { 2.5 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }

15: 25 N・m { 2.5 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }

1) Remove the water pump from the front cover.

1) Install the special tool to the starter motor installation section of the flywheel housing.

SST: 5-8840-3174-0 - crankshaft stopper

2) Remove the crankshaft pulley from the crankshaft.

1) Remove the oil seal cover from the front cover.

2) Remove the crankshaft front oil seal and slinger as a set from the crankshaft using the special tool.

SST: 5-8840-3175-0 - slinger puller

1) Remove the water inlet pipe from the front cover.

2) Remove the bypass pipe from the front cover.

3) Remove the front cover from the cylinder block.
