1. Catalytic converter installation
1) Temporarily tighten the following parts to the turbocharger and cylinder block in the order shown in the diagram.
- Catalytic converter
- Gasket
- Catalytic converter bracket
Caution
- Do not reuse the gasket.
- Assemble with the gasket protrusion facing outside of the engine.

2) Final tighten the following parts to the turbocharger and cylinder block in the order shown in the diagram.
- Catalytic converter
- Gasket
- Catalytic converter bracket
Tightening torque: 52 N・m { 5.3 kgf・m / 38 lb・ft }

1) Lower the vehicle.
