1. Rear oil seal installation
1. 2WD models
1) Apply the recommended lubricating oil to the outer circumference of the rear oil seal.
2) Install the rear oil seal to the rear case using the special tool.
Caution
- Do not reuse the rear oil seal.
- When press-fitting, take care not to damage the lip section of the oil seal.
Standard: 3.5 to 4.5 mm { 0.138 to 0.177 in }

3) Apply grease to the lip section.
Note
- Apply BESCO L-2 grease or equivalent to the lip section.

4) Install the dust cover to the rear case using the special tool.
