1. Vibration of the steering wheel diagnostics

Improper tire air pressure

  • Adjust the air pressure.

Tire or wheel imbalance

  • Balance the wheel, or replace the tire or wheel.

Abnormal wheel runout

  • Repair or replace the wheel or tire.

Swelling or bulging of the tire

  • Replace the tire.

Rotational runout of the tire and wheel due to an overweight vehicle

  • Replace the tire and disc wheel.

Improper wheel alignment

  • Inspect the wheel alignment.

Worn hub bearing

  • Replace the hub.

Loose hub bearing

  • Replace the hub.

Looseness in the power steering unit installation section

  • Tighten the mounting bolts.

Loose or worn power steering unit ball joint

  • Tighten or replace the power steering unit ball joint.

Worn bushing

  • Replace the bushing.

Worn or loose steering shaft universal joint section

  • Tighten the mounting bolt further.
  • Replace the steering shaft.

Loose bolts or nuts in various areas of the suspension

  • Tighten.

Shock absorber malfunction or wear

  • Replace the shock absorber.
