Reinforcement installation

1) Install the reinforcement to the vehicle.

Tightening torque: 6.6 N・m { 0.7 kgf・m / 58 lb・in } M6 bolt (Blower and heater evaporator unit side)

Tightening torque: 8.0 N・m { 0.8 kgf・m / 71 lb・in } M6 bolt (Floor panel side)

Tightening torque: 19 N・m { 1.9 kgf・m / 14 lb・ft } M8 bolt (Reinforcement fixing bolt)

Tightening torque: 33 N・m { 3.4 kgf・m / 24 lb・ft } M8 bolt (Pedal bracket fixing bolt)

2) Install the harness and harness clips to the reinforcement.

3) Install the DLC to the reinforcement.

4) Install the center ventilation duct to the heater evaporator unit.

5) Connect the steering shaft to the reinforcement.

Tightening torque: 20 N・m { 2.0 kgf・m / 15 lb・ft }

Referring to the following, install the ECM to the reinforcement.

Refer to "1.Engine 1Z.Engine Electrical Control(4JJ3 with DPD) ECM installation".

Refer to "1.Engine 1Z.Engine Electrical Control(4JJ3 without DPD) ECM installation".

Refer to "1.Engine 1Z.Engine Electrical Control(RZ4E-TC) ECM installation".

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9L.Exterior, Interior Trim instrument panel installation".

1) Install the steering cowl to the steering shaft.

Tightening torque: 2.5 N・m { 0.25 kgf・m / 22.1 lb・in }

2) Turn the steering wheel 90° to the right and left and install the screw to the steering cowl.

Tightening torque: 2.5 N・m { 0.25 kgf・m / 22.1 lb・in }
