DTC P1455 Diesel Particulate Defuser (DPD) Insufficient Regeneration (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC P1455 description

The DPD filter traps PM emitted from the engine. The ECM calculates the PM accumulation amount in the DPD filter based on various data. DPD automatic regeneration starts when a certain level of PM has accumulated or when the vehicle has been driven the predetermined mileage. If automatic regeneration is not completed for some reason, the DPD operator regeneration indicator light in the instrument panel cluster will flash to request the driver to perform DPD regeneration. If the DPD regeneration that is requested to the driver has not been started, or if the DPD regeneration has not been completed properly and the DPD regeneration interval is longer than the predetermined mileage, the DTC is set.
