DTC P1A50[04] Safety Function-SG1 Hazard (4WD models)

1. DTC P1A50[04] description

The TCCM controls the transfer case control system. The TCCM detects the 2H-4H-4L position of the 4WD switch operated by the driver, then operates the transfer actuator, shift-on-the-fly actuator, and indicator in the instrument panel cluster. The TCCM monitors the transfer operational status by predicting various values according to each control status. The TCCM sets the DTC if the predicted value for the request does not match the actual value.

2. Condition for setting DTC P1A50[04]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The CAN1 is normal.
  • The CAN2 is normal.
  • A failure message from the transfer motor actuator is not detected.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The predicted value for the request does not match the actual value.
