2) Power up the scan tool. Does the scan tool power up?
Yes
=>Go to SRS control unit communication verification.
No
Go to Scan tool does not power up.

1) Verify that communication can be established with the SRS control unit using the scan tool. Can communication with the SRS control unit be established?
Yes
No
Go to Lost communication with the SRS control unit.
1) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes (If DTC B1053[49], B1900[00], B1901[00], B190F[00], or B1E17[00] is set.)
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis in the following order.
Refer to "58.SRS Control 8A.Troubleshooting(Air Bag (Driver/Passenger)) DTC B1053[49] ECU Malfunction".
Refer to "58.SRS Control 8A.Troubleshooting(Air Bag (Driver/Passenger)) DTC B190F[00] Disposal Command Record".
Yes (If a DTC other than DTC B1053[49], B1900[00], B1901[00], B190F[00], or B1E17[00] is set.)
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
Yes (Only a past DTC is set.)
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
No (No DTC is set.)
=>Go to SRS airbag warning light illumination check.
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 15 seconds or more.
2) Disconnect the scan tool.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Check the SRS airbag warning light. Does the SRS airbag warning light turn OFF after illuminating for 6 seconds?
Yes
Go to Intermittent conditions of SRS control.
Refer to "209.Restraints 22D.Symptom Intermittent conditions of SRS control".
No (Does not illuminate)
Go to SRS airbag warning light illuminating circuit system check.
No (Remains ON)
