DTC P1600 (Flash Code 96) SIF CPU Communication Data Check (AWR6B45)

1. DTC P1600 description

This diagnosis is performed on the microprocessor inside the TCM. If the TCM detects a control unit internal malfunction, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC P1600

  • The TCM detects a communication error between the main CPU and the sub-CPU.

3. Action taken when DTC P1600 sets

  • The TCM flashes the check trans warning light. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type C.

  • Reset the TCM.

4. Condition for clearing DTC P1600

  • Refer to Condition for clearing the check trans warning light/DTC - Type C.
