DTC P0807 Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Low (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC P0807 description

The clutch pedal stroke sensor is installed to the clutch master cylinder. The ECM detects the clutch pedal stroke amount based on the signal from the clutch pedal stroke sensor. The clutch pedal stroke sensor signal voltage increases as the clutch pedal is depressed. The sensor has the following circuits.

  • 5 V reference circuit
  • Low reference circuit
  • Clutch pedal stroke sensor signal circuit

The clutch pedal stroke sensor sends signals related to the pressure changes in the clutch master cylinder to the ECM via the signal circuit. If the ECM detects an excessively low signal voltage, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC P0807

Condition for running the DTC

  • The battery voltage is 9 to 16 V.
  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • DTCs P060B and P0697 are not set.

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(4JJ3 with DPD) DTC P060B Internal Control Module A/D Processing Performance".

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(4JJ3 with DPD) DTC P0697 Sensor Reference Voltage 3 Circuit".

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The ECM detects that the clutch pedal stroke sensor signal voltage is 0.1 V or less.

3. Action taken when DTC P0807 sets

  • The ECM illuminates the SVS indicator light. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type C.

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(4JJ3 with DPD) DTC type definitions".

  • The ECM assumes a default clutch pedal stroke sensor value.

4. Condition for clearing DTC P0807

  • Refer to Condition for clearing the SVS indicator light/DTC - Type C.

Refer to "51.Engine Control 1A.Troubleshooting(4JJ3 with DPD) DTC type definitions".
