DTC U0100[00] (Flash Code 31）Lost Communication With ECM for Brake Signal (Headlight Automatic Leveling Control)

1. DTC U0100[00] description

The headlight auto leveling control unit communicates the control information with the ECM via the CAN communication circuit. If the headlight auto leveling control unit cannot receive the control information from the ECM, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0100[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The headlight auto leveling control unit detects that the control information cannot be received from the ECM for 2 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC U0100[00] sets

  • The headlight leveling actuator drive is stopped.
  • The headlight automatic leveling warning light illuminates.
