1. DTC P0500[81] description
The headlight auto leveling control unit receives wheel speed signals from the EHCU via the CAN communication circuit. If the headlight auto leveling control unit detects an error in the wheel speed data received from the EHCU, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC P0500[81]
Condition for running the DTC
- The ignition switch is ON.
Condition for setting the DTC
- The headlight auto leveling control unit detects an error in the wheel speed data received from the EHCU for 2 seconds or more.
3. Action taken when DTC P0500[81] sets
- The headlight leveling actuator drive is stopped.
- The headlight automatic leveling warning light illuminates.
