DTC P2715 (Flash Code 59) Pressure Control Solenoid D (SL4) Stuck On (AWR6B45)

1. DTC P2715 description

Clutch control solenoid (SL4) is installed on the valve body assembly and adjusts the B1 brake control oil pressure. The TCM controls clutch control solenoid (SL4) based on the information of the vehicle speed, accelerator opening position, brake signal, etc. If the TCM detects that B1 brake remains operated even though B1 brake controlled by clutch control solenoid (SL4) is commanded to disengage, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC P2715

Condition for running the DTC

The vehicle is running in the D range.
The current gear position is 1st.
The input speed is 4,000 rpm or less.
The output speed is 60 rpm or more.
DTCs P0715, P0717, P0720, and P0722 are not set.

Condition for setting the DTC

The TCM detects that B1 brake remains operated even though B1 brake controlled by clutch control solenoid (SL4) is commanded to disengage.

3. Action taken when DTC P2715 sets

The TCM flashes the check trans warning light on the second driving cycle. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type B.

The gear is shifted to 3rd or 5th.

4. Condition for clearing DTC P2715

Refer to Condition for clearing the MIL, check trans warning light/DTC - Type A or Type B.
