DTC P0700 Transmission Control System (MIL Request) (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC P0700 description

The TCM requests the ECM to illuminate the MIL via the CAN when the TCM sets the MIL illumination request DTC. If the ECM detects the MIL illumination request signal, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC P0700

Condition for running the DTC

  • The battery voltage is 9 to 16 V.
  • The ignition switch is ON.
  • DTCs U0001 and U0101 are not set.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The ECM detects that the TCM requests illumination of the MIL.

3. Action taken when DTC P0700 sets

  • The ECM illuminates the MIL. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type A.

4. Condition for clearing DTC P0700

  • Refer to Conditions for clearing the MIL/DTC - Type A or Type B.
