DTC U2301 Immobilizer Transponder Authentication NG (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC U2301 description

When the ignition switch is turned ON, the wireless access module begins the transponder key authentication via the antenna coil in the steering lock section. Once the wireless access module transmits a signal, the transponder must send back a specific response signal. If the wireless access module receives an abnormal response signal from the transponder, the key authentication cannot be possible. If the ECM receives an abnormal key authentication signal from the wireless access module 4 or more consecutive times, the DTC is set.
