DTC B170C[0A] Indicator Output Circuit Failure (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B170C[0A] description

The key monitor warning light is in the instrument panel cluster. The key monitor warning light informs the driver that a malfunction has occurred in the function controlled by the wireless access module and that it is necessary to repair the vehicle. The wireless access module monitors the key monitor warning light status. If the key monitor warning light shows a status inconsistent with that commanded by the wireless access module, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B170C[0A]

  • When the key monitor warning light is commanded ON, the wireless access module detects a malfunction in the output circuit.

3. Action taken when DTC B170C[0A] sets

  • The wireless access module stops the output of the key monitor warning light.
