DTC B1E1F[00] Driver Knee Airbag Misassemble (Air Bag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Roof/Knee/Far Side))

1. DTC B1E1F[00] DTC description

The SRS control unit determines the airbag assembly conditions by reading the conditions of squib incorrect assembly identification terminals set based on the SRS control unit specifications when the ignition switch is turned ON. Normal conditions for the terminals (pins 1, 2, 16, and 17 of B9, pins 6, 7, 13, and 14 of R6) vary depending on specifications. When the SRS control unit detects that the terminals are in the conditions other than the following combinations, the SRS control unit or SRS harness is determined to be incompatible with this model, and the DTC is set.
