DTC P061A Control Module Torque Limitation Error (4JJ3 with DPD)

1. DTC P061A description

This diagnosis applies to the microprocessor inside the ECM.

2. Condition for setting DTC P061A

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The ECM detects an abnormal calculated value due to the internal CPU.

3. Action taken when DTC P061A sets

  • The ECM illuminates the MIL. Refer to Action taken when DTC sets - Type A.

  • The ECM limits the fuel injection quantity.
  • The ECM inhibits the cruise control.

4. Condition for clearing DTC P061A

  • Refer to Conditions for clearing the MIL/DTC - Type A or Type B.
